I love the idea of a F&R set 3 and hope that it will be more like Series 1 than Series 2. Series 2 didn’t have many cards that hooked me.

I understand you don’t want to imbalance the game by giving super-playable cards away for free. If you did, nobody would buy the premium cards. I just hope that the cards in the 3rd set will be more interesting than the 2nd set was.

Thanks for the F&R though. I’ve made tons of tickets selling them.

  2. Swarley Says:

For the love of all that is holy make the different series distinguishable in our card collections. :)

  3. CrashD Says:

Yeah Swar, that is something I wish too.

The way we have that set data structured it’s hard to do that via the filters…but there might be another way we can get what we all want…

  4. Mr OG Says:

Trading two F+S(or F&R whatever you call ‘em) Yogi Berras for trade or for sale! PM me if intrested.

  5. Heavy Anchors Says:

what cards will be in this set? and the relese date is the 1st of sept. right?

  6. Phoenix Schorchers Says:

As of right now you still have one hour to complete your sets! There’s still a lot of buy it now options out there.

  7. Phoenix Schorchers Says:

Or maybe they take the site down for maintainence as soon as I post that…

  8. Jeremy Says:

I completed 2 sets but only received 1 pack. I was under the impression that:

“You will earn a Spire pack for each set of Series 2 National cards you have completed - i.e., collect 2 National complete sets, get 2 Spire packs” (posted on Monday, August 10th, 2009 at 1:59 pm by CrashD)

  9. Stephen Raia Says:

so we get the series 3 for the facebook publishings right??

  10. CrashD Says:

    @ Jeremy

One thing to be sure and check is that you collected all the card variations in each set. I actually got caught on this a couple times myself. For example there are 2 Buddy Bell cards, #62 (with father Gus) & 63 (with son David). Email support if you see you still have an issue after double checking that…

  11. Jeremy Says:

what is support’s email? i have 2 of every friend and family series 2 card

  12. CrashD Says:

    Jeremy, mail support@baseballboss.com

  13. Jeremy Says:

    Thanks Crash

  14. Typh3r J Says:

I too, have not received my cards and I know that I have several complete “sets” of them. I made sure that I auctioned off every duplicate only (but saving each father with multiple sons) so there’s no reason why I wouldn’t be getting them. I’ve heard from several others that also have not gotten theirs yet and they are supposed to be getting some too. I’ve tried to contact support@baseballboss.com but it’s getting very close to 24 hours with no response. I don’t understand the delay as I worked so hard to collect these cards just for this moment and when I expected to get my reward… i got nothing…. so please can someone do something about this?

  15. CrashD Says:

Typh3r - hang in there. Peaches and the support crew will definitely get to you. Depending on the workload for all our games, you may or may not hear back within 24 hours…

  16. McLeanCheneys Says:

Whoever added the Nasty Boys in Series #3, my hat is off to you. Dibble (with the Nats) is the most refreshing and entertaining baseball announcer I’ve heard in years.

  17. Jeremy Says:

    @ Crash

Hey, it’s been almost 48hrs and i haven’t heard a thing back yet. After seeing Typh3r’s post, am i correct to assume that this is an issue that is affecting multiple people and that it is being worked on as we speak?
